Taiwan Zhenyu Optical Co., Ltd. is the patentee of series of patents regarding the headband illuminated magnifier, and its products are sold well in Taiwan, Japan, Europe and North America. A company in Wenzhou, urged by a company from Japan, exploited these patents without any permit from the Taiwan company, leading to serious losses of the patentee. Therefore, the patentee appointed Mr. Chambers Yang to file a suit to Wenzhou Intermediate People??s Court. The hearing of the case has concluded recently, and parties have voluntarily entered into a settlement agreement under the management of the court, that the defendant shall stop its infringing acts, destroy all infringing products, make apologies and compensate for losses of the plaintiff.
