Mr. Chambers Yang recently attended the training course, held by Shanghai Stock Exchange, for qualifications for independent directors of listed companies, and got the qualifications for independent directors of listed companies after examination.

According to the “Guiding Opinions on Establishing the Independent Director System in Listed Companies”, current or proposed independent directors shall, in compliance with the requirements of China Securities Regulatory Commission, participate in training courses held by China Securities Regulatory Commission or its authorized institutes. It is one of the requisites to be an independent director of a listed company to attend such training course.

Under authorization by China Securities Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Stock Exchange held this session concerning qualifications for independent directors of listed companies. Those persons who are conferred with such qualifications for independent directors will be brought into the Management System of “Talent Pool of Independent Directors of Listed Companies”.
